Abstract

La biodiversidad boliviana constituye una de las mayores riquezas del país y una oportunidad estratégica para el desarrollo sostenible. En este estudio se evaluó el contenido de compuestos fenólicos y flavonoides en frutos tropicales de la Chiquitania. Los resultados evidenciaron concentraciones variables de bioactivos, destacando la Solanaceae sp. y las cáscaras de varios frutos como las fracciones con mayor potencial antioxidante. Se observó una correlación positiva entre fenoles y flavonoides. Estos hallazgos subrayan la importancia de revalorizar subproductos comúnmente desechados, promover su aprovechamiento y reconocer a la biodiversidad como un patrimonio estratégico para Bolivia.
