Abstract
The fourteenth edition of this Directory, published in 2005, contains information about philosophical activity in over 100 countries in Africa, Asia, Australasia, Europe, and Latin America. Like previous editions it is organized in five main sections (Universities, Centers and Institutes, Societies, Journals, Publishers), and includes a compiled list of the names and addresses of over 14,000 philosophers. Information about philosophical activity in the U.S. and Canada was published separately in the Directory of American Philosophers.
