Kuzeybatı Anadolu Manav Türkmen Ağızları Üzerine Birkaç Not

Abstract
Genellikle Türkiye’nin kuzeybatısında yaşayan Manav adıyla anılan Türkmen ağızlarında Eski Türkçenin ŋ (ng) ve ń (ny) sesleri ile bunlardan ikincisinin ayrışmasının sonucu olan y’li biçimler varlığını sürdürmektedir: pazılıyasıń, sāvoluŋ, attıy vb. Bazı Manav Türkmen ağızlarında Gagauz Türkçesi ile Rumeli ağızlarındaki (ilk hecede) o> u ve ö > ü daralmaları da görülmektedir: undan, kǖde vb. Bu durum çoğunlukla Kıpçak Türkçesinin Oğuz Türkçesine etkisi olarak açıklanır. Öte yandan bölge ağızlarında görülen # ḳ > #ġ ötümlüleşmesi de tam bir Oğuz özelliğidir: ġarış, ġavrā vb. Bu ağızlar Eski Türkçede bulunup Türkiye Türkçesinin yazı dilinde değişmiş olan bazı unsurları korumaktadır. Yavuz kelimesinin ilk biçimi olan yabız’ın olumsuz anlamıyla Kandıra’da yaşaması ile bugünkü demek ve yemek fiillerinin Düzce ve Balıkesir Gönen’de ilk biçimlerindeki gibi i’li kullanımı, bunun iki örneğidir. Düzce Çilimli’deki verüdük, yapduktan vb. yuvarlak ünlülü şekiller, Batı Karadeniz ağızlarının; Balıkesir Gönen’deki alcā, gelcek vb. a/e’siz gelecek zaman şekilleri ise Batı Anadolu Yörük Türkmen ağızlarının izlerini taşımaktadır.
