Abstract
Cet article aborde un dispositif original et singulier construit autour de l’observation du nourrisson selon Esther Bick, lequel peut constituer un outil de transformation des processus de précarisation parentale. Dès ses premiers instants, le bébé déploie des comportements destinés à établir des relations vitales pour son développement. Un autre secourable, suffisamment disponible lui est nécessaire pour bien grandir. À partir d’un cas clinique, nous explorons comment, dans les situations de précarité parentale, le fait de se centrer sur le bébé, en appui sur les observations, peut relancer le développement du bébé. L’observation comme dispositif thérapeutique permet la figuration de l’espace intrapsychique du bébé, soutenant ainsi sa vitalité et sa posture de sujet. Grâce à ce soutien, le bébé (re) devient un agent compétent pour « parentaliser » son parent et nourrir le plaisir de la rencontre. Enfin, ce dispositif permet aux parents une exploration de leur propre histoire souvent marquée elle aussi par la précarité, permettant une ré-affiliation, voire une affiliation primordiale soutenant le processus d’élaboration identitaire et l’enrayement de transmission transgénérationnelle désaffiliante.
