Abstract
Les visites médiatisées en protection de l’enfance constituent un point de tension entre contrainte judiciaire et enjeux psychiques liés au maintien des liens entre l’enfant et ses parents. Ordonnées par un magistrat et encadrées par un professionnel, elles visent à protéger l’enfant tout en offrant un espace de travail psychique. Au-delà de leurs fonctions de protection et d’évaluation, elles peuvent favoriser une transformation des dynamiques familiales marquées par des traumatismes, à condition que la médiatisation soit pensée de manière rigoureuse. Cette contribution propose d’analyser les enjeux psychiques et institutionnels des visites médiatisées afin d’en faire un véritable dispositif clinique. Il s’agit de dépasser la seule contrainte judiciaire pour ouvrir un espace de transformation des liens familiaux et soutenir le développement psychique de l’enfant.
