Abstract
Les notions de propriété et de territoire se situent à la base des incompréhensions mutuelles vécues entre les héritiers et héritières des nations innue et québécoise. L'objectif de cette thèse est de faire œuvre utile en faveur de la construction de ponts notionnels entre le savoir juridique de la tradition civiliste du Québec et les informations normatives de la tradition innue en matière de propriété, tout particulièrement chez les Mamit Innuat (les Innu.e.s de la Basse- Côte-Nord). Cette thèse se veut une contribution au savoir du droit, que l’on aborde en adoptant une méthodologie interdisciplinaire. La méthodologie novatrice proposée, qui s'appuie sur le droit et la photographie, utilise la force de l’image, afin de restituer ce que les mots arrivent difficilement à transposer lorsque vient le temps de saisir ce savoir-être et ces connaissances normatives issues de l’oralité de la tradition innue
