Abstract
Kemajuan teknologi informasi telah mengubah cara individu beraktivitas ekonomi, terutama dengan meningkatnya belanja daring di kalangan mahasiswa. Belanja daring memudahkan dan menghemat waktu, tetapi juga menimbulkan tantangan psikologis seperti penyesalan pasca pembelian. Pertumbuhan e-commerce mendorong pembelian impulsif, sehingga evaluasi keputusan pembelian penting untuk memahami perilaku konsumen, di mana kepribadian berperan dalam pengambilan dan evaluasi keputusan pembelian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbedaan tingkat penyesalan pasca pembelian secara daring di Kota Makassar ditinjau dari kepribadian ekstrovert dan introvert. Sampel penelitian berjumlah 592 mahasiswa yang dipilih dengan teknik purposive sampling, terdiri atas 321 ekstrovert dan 271 introvert. Data dikumpulkan menggunakan skala modifikasi Kepribadian dan Penyesalan Pasca Pembelian yang disusun oleh Tsabitah Adzradalila (2023) dengan reliabilitas 0,93 dan 0,95. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode komparatif, serta analisis data dilakukan melalui independent sample t-test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat perbedaan signifikan antara individu ekstrovert dan introvert dalam penyesalan pasca pembelian (p = 0,040), di mana ekstrovert cenderung lebih tinggi tingkat penyesalannya. Temuan ini memberikan kontribusi bagi pengembangan literatur perilaku konsumen sekaligus menjadi dasar dalam merumuskan strategi pemasaran daring yang sesuai dengan karakteristik kepribadian konsumen.
