Introdução O cluster Arte da Performance & Performatividade nas artes 1 , coordenado por Cláudia Madeira (ICNOVA-NOVA FCSH) e Cristina Pratas Cruzeiro (IHA-NOVA FCSH/ IN2PAST) constitui-se como espaço de reflexão e criação interdisciplinar, reunindo investigadores e artistas de vários domínios científicos e áreas de produção artística.O seu foco temático incide na arte da performance portuguesa e nas novas formas de performatividade que se desenvolveram a partir da hibridização entre a arte e a sociedade em áreas como o teatro, a dança, a música, a fotografia, a instalação, a arte digital, as artes plásticas, assim como a arte pública e os novos movimentos sociais.Dada a sua dinâmica, o cluster posiciona-se na ligação entre a investigação científica, as práticas artísticas e a sociedade.Foi no cruzamento das características do cluster com a comemoração dos 50 anos do 25 de Abril de 1974 que, em 2024, encontrámos a nossa base de trabalho: utilizar a revolução portuguesa como gatilho para repensarmos em conjunto as ideias e princípios de sociedade mais justa e livre que então emergiram.Como repensá-los à luz da atualidade e das nossas vidas quotidianas?foi a nossa inquirição de partida.
