Abstract
Cet article propose un dialogue entre le documentaire Sud et la traversée du Canada d’Est en Ouest de l’autrice. Adoptant la « stratégie de voyage » de Chantal Akerman, ce texte propose une guirlande d’observations sur l’enfilade de plaines et de forêts de la route transcanadienne, mais aussi sur les inégalités laissées en bord de route. Par le biais de la recherche-création, l’autrice pose sur son expérience un regard littéraire et cinématographique qui renouvelle l’imaginaire du road movie et transmet le caractère fugace des scènes observées en marge du bitume.
