Abstract
L’exigence de la proposition de ce colloque intitulé « Le Panthéon de Charles Péguy » nous in-vite à éclairer la modernité du Mystère de la charité à l’aide non pas d’un mais de deux cinéastes, Bruno Dumont et Andreï Tarkovski. Deux évènements se manifestent dans la pièce de Péguy : celui de la voix de Jeannette et celui de la Passion. Ces deux évènements se manifestent dans l’épaisseur d’un pur présent. Andreï Tarkovski prend le risque de mettre la Passion au présent quand Bruno Dumont prend le risque de figurer Jeannette dans le pur présent du cinéma. Nous nous demanderons alors dans quelle mesure les partis pris formels et la dimension spirituelle dans les films Jeannette, l’enfance de Jeanne d’Arc de Bruno Dumont et Andreï Roublev de Andreï Tarkovski peuvent-ils éclairer le lien entre rythme, répétition et présence tel qu’il apparaît dans Le Mystère de la charité de Jeanne d’Arc de Charles Péguy ?
