Abstract
This issue contains a Special Section on ‘Do-It-Yourself (DIY) Music Making with Technology’ edited by Lloyd McArton from the University of Lethbridge in Canada. In the editorial, McArton provides context for the current practices of DIY music making with technology and introduces the two related articles featured in this issue. Additionally, the issue contains four articles edited by adam patrick bell that focus on a range of topics, including the drum kit, guitar and Korean Danso , which together exemplify the diverse areas of research that occur at the intersection of music, technology and education.
