Las raíces históricas de las relaciones económicas interprovinciales en CanadáEn el proceso de formación como Estado-nación -diferente al de Estados Unidos, que se fundó en fecha y circunstancia determinadas-, Canadá observa uno más difuso, largo y complejo para formarse como tal, 21 ya que desde su creación contó con una característica especialmente rica y compleja de su dinámica: el desenvolvimiento y la forma en la que derivó la lucha entre los imperios francés e inglés sobre su territorio, a partir de la época de la colonización del continente americano, específicamente con la caza de pieles de castor.Este hecho repercutió en favor de la Corona británica en 1754, cuando Quebec, la primera ciudad fundada en este territorio por el francés Champlain en 1608, cayó en manos inglesas en una guerra imperial y aquella provincia pasó a ser regida por Gran Bretaña, que, no obstante, le otorgó libertades religiosas, derechos de propiedad y de comercio, además de volverlos sus súbditos. 22 En
