Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

In order to investigate the archaeological potential of a proposed new development site located on land to the rear of 53-57 Hexton Road, Barton-le-Clay, Bedfordshire, the Heritage Network was commissioned by the owners to undertake a programme of targeted trial trenching. Five trial trenches were excavated across the site, focussing on the areas of greatest potential impact. The trenches revealed five undated linear boundary features, a pit containing Romano-British pottery sherds, two gullies and remnants of ridge and furrow. On the basis of the results of the evaluation, the risk that the proposed development might disturb archaeological remains of any significance may be considered to be Low for the Prehistoric periods and Moderate for all periods from the Romano-British to the post-medieval period. Although Romano-British, medieval and post-medieval features are common, the relationship of those features to any documented sources means that they should be considered locally to be of Moderate significance

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
