Abstract
Araştırma, primer dismenoresi olan öğrencilere uygulanan kinezyo bantlamanın, ağrı, menstrüel semptom, stres, uyku ve yaşam kalitesi üzerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla randomize kontrollü olarak yapılmıştır. Araştırmaya, Toros Üniversitesi Sağlık Hizmetleri Meslek Yüksekokulu 1. sınıfta öğrenim gören primer dismenoresi olan 31 müdahale ve 31 plasebo grubunda olmak üzere toplam 62 kız öğrenci dahil edilmiştir. Araştırmada veriler, "Kriterlere Uygunluğu Belirleme Formu", "Tanıtıcı Özellikler Formu", "Mcgill Ağrı Ölçeği Kısa Formu", "Görsel Analog Skala", "Menstrüasyon Semptom Ölçeği", "Algılanan Stres Ölçeği", "Pittsburgh Uyku Kalitesi İndeksi", Dünya Sağlık Örgütü Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği-Kısa Formu" kullanılarak toplanmıştır. Veri toplama araçları, kinezyo bantlama yapılmadan önce her iki grupta bulunan öğrencilere doldurtulmuştur. Araştırmada müdahale grubunda bulunan öğrencilerin sakral bölgelerine 12 hafta boyunca ortalama haftada iki kez olmak üzere %100 gerimle kinezyo bantlama uygulanmıştır. Plasebo grubunda bulunan öğrencilerin sakral bölgelerine ise 12 hafta boyunca ortalama haftada iki kez olmak üzere gerimsiz kinezyo bantlama yapılmıştır. Uygulamanın 4. ve 8. haftalarında her iki gruba tekrar Görsel Analog Skala, 12. haftada ve uygulama süreci bittikten sonraki 4. Haftada, Mcgill Ağrı Ölçeği Kısa Formu, Görsel Analog Skala, Menstrüasyon Semptom Ölçeği, Algılanan Stres Ölçeği, Pittsburgh Uyku Kalitesi İndeksi ve Dünya Sağlık Örgütü Yaşam Kalitesi Ölçeği-Kısa Formu doldurtulmuştur. Verilerin değerlendirilmesinde; Student t test, Repeated Measures ANOVA test, Pearson ki-kare test, Likelihood Ratio ki-kare test ve Bonferroni test düzeltmesi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Araştırmamızda müdahale grubunda bulunan öğrencilerin yaş ortalamasının 21.6±3.2, plasebo grubunda bulunan öğrencilerin ise yaş ortalamasının 20.7±1.2 olduğu belirlenmiştir. Müdahale ve plasebo grubundaki öğrencilerin ön testte menstrüel ağrı şiddeti, menstrüel semptom ve algıladıkları stres düzeylerinin yüksek; uyku ile yaşam kalitelerinin ise düşük olduğu bulunmuştur.
