Abstract
Pierre Saincton, occasionnel éditeur d’estampes parisien, publie pour l’année 1653 un almanach mural intitulé « Nous allons à l’an pire », sur le thème récurrent de la misère du petit commerce en période de crise, de circonstance à la fin de la Fronde. La répétition de l’image qui orne sa partie supérieure à l’intérieur de l’image elle-même ainsi que sur d’autres images ayant la même destination populaire, de même que sa réédition en feuille volante jusqu’au XVIIIe siècle en Italie nous en apprennent beaucoup sur la gestion commerciale de ce type d’estampe.
