Abstract
Les réflexions présentées dans cet article sont le résultat d’une recherche-action menée pendant quatre ans, de 2006 à 2009, avec les prostituées des bas-fonds de la ville de Belo Horizonte au Brésil. La psychosociologie du travail en dialogue avec l’ergologie sont les références théoriques et méthodologiques centrales. Dans la perspective analytique de la prostitution en tant que travail spécialisé, nous présentons d’abord les différentes dimensions de cette activité dans le contexte brésilien pour ensuite orienter l’exploration sur le rapport entre santé et travail dans ce milieu et les stratégies de ces femmes pour vivre en santé.
