This naturalistic study has been performed in the First Episode Clinic (day hospital) of the Moscow Research Institute of Psychiatry. 28 patients were examined (13 male and 18 female, average age 27.7±8.4 years); 46.4% of these cases have been diagnosed as schizophrenia, 32.15% as schizoaffective disorder and 21.45% as schizotypal disorder. Methods and instruments: clinical psychopathological evaluation, the PANSS and the Calgary Depression Scale. Social parameters have been registered with the help of the Questionnaire for Evaluation of Mental Patients Social Functioning and their Quality of Life. Daily maximum dose of Rispolux was 7.0±1.8 mg and duration of treatment was 62.1±36.0 days.
