Abstract
La reconstruccion microquirurgica para corregir la infertilidad masculina, aunque se suele practicar para revertir una vasectomia, tambien se realiza para corregir otros tipos de obstrucciones yatrogenas, congenitas y postinflamatorias. Se han propuesto diversas modificaciones para mejorar los resultados y facilitar la realizacion de estos procedimientos microquirurgicos complejos. Este articulo revisa algunas de las modificaciones propuestas. Estas modificaciones pueden dividirse en cinco clases: (1) uso de biomateriales/senadores, (2) soldadura con laser, (3) uso de endoprotesis reabsorbibles y no reabsorbibles, (4) nuevas tecnicas de vasoepididimostomia (VE) por intususcepcion, y (5) uso de la rebotica.
