Abstract
Deux (2) routes identifiées au réseau routier national (RRN) du Canada se terminent actuellement dans l'arrondissement Chicoutimi et l'arrondissement de La Baie de Ville de Saguenay. Il s'agit de routes principales existantes qui permettent les déplacements et les échanges commerciaux interprovinciaux et internationaux. Il s'agit de la route 175, ser terminant au boulevard Université, ainsi que l'autoroute 70 vers l'est et de la route 170 ser terminant sur le boulevard Grand-Baie (voir la carte no 7). Le présent rapport tente de mettre en lumière certains paramètres, qui pourraient inciter le groupe de travail du RRN à reconnaître éventuellement l'ajout de nouveaux tronçons de la route stratégiques ayant une importance nationale, lors du prochain exercice d'examen et d'évaluation du réseau routier national du Canada. Le prologement du RRN sur la route 175 et la route 172 dans le port de Grande-Anse, représente deux (2) possibilités d'ajout au réseau routier national du Canada.
