Bibliographic record
Abstract
The experimental catchments of Draix were settled in 1984 to study runoff and erosion in small mountain basins. Four basins have been equipped for the measurement of rainfall, liquid discharge and solid transport ( bedload and suspension). These basins have different surface areas, from 1300 m² to 1 km², three are largely devoid of vegetation and a fourth one was reforested at the end of the last century. This paper presents a summary of observations and results, focusing on the comparision between the forested basin (Le Brusquet) and the bare one (the Laval). The peakflows are reduced with a factor 5 to 10 and delayed of about 30 mn. The mean annual sediment yield is 200 times lower in the brusquet basin (40 times lower when reported only to the zones devoid of vegetation). The rainfall-runoff-erosion modelling with ETC shows good results on the bare basin but overestimates the sediment yield of the forested one. This shows the importance of the connectivity between the eroded zones and the channel network. Furthermore, it would be necessary to take into account the trapping of the sediments in the channel reaches of the forested basin. Up to now, it is not possible to extrapolate the results of the obervation period to paroxysmic situation because of the threshold effects involved in these phenomenons.

Teacher imitationNot calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)
The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.
Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
