Abstract
La rama automovilistica y las industrias colaterales son factores determinantes en la dinamica del sistema capitalista mundial. En este trabajo se examina el corredor comercial centro-oeste de America del Norte, que vincula las areas productoras de automoviles desde Toronto en Canada hasta las ciudades del centro de Mexico. El autor concluye que las configuraciones territoriales de los tres paises miembros del TLCAN se dan en funcion de la actividad productiva y comercializadora de la rama automovilistica.
