L'A. revoit les vingt-six allocutions a la Rote du pape Jean-Paul II, donnees entre 1979 et 2005. Bien que ces allocutions portent sur plusieurs themes differents, l'A. a choisi de se concentrer sur trois themesprincipaux qui y reviennent frequemment: 1) la place du droit dans l'Eglise; 2) les elements d'un proces canonique; et 3) quelques questions au sujet des jugements dans les causes en nullite de mariage. Ces themes traduisent l'importante contribution du patrimoine canonique de ce pape. Grâce a une reflexion attentive de ces themes, le canoniste en arrivera a y percevoir un enseignement approfondi et unifie.
