Kenneth Maly is Professor Emeritus of Philosophy and Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and now teaches courses in environmental philosophy and environmental studies at the University of Toronto. He is General Editor of the book series New Studies in Phenomenology and Hermeneutics for The University of Toronto Press, where his book Heidegger's Possibility: Language, Emergence—Saying Be-ing will be published in April 2008. He has edited two volumes on Heidegger and Heraclitus and has translated three books by (and one about) Heidegger, including Heidegger's major work Contributions to Philosophy (From Enowning). Kenneth Maly is founding co-editor of the international journal Heidegger Studies. He is founding co-editor of the journal Environmental Philosophy. He is the recipient of the 2005 University of Wisconsin Regents Teaching Excellence Award.
