« L'idée est plus réelle que le réel », voilà la constatation que fait Edgar Morin face à la sacralisation du sens et de la raison de notre univers contemporain, qui a tant de mal à regarder la complexité de la réalité telle qu'elle est. La réussite technologique, même remise en cause, continue d'exalter la magie de la raison beaucoup plus adorée qu'on ne le croit, au point qu'elle est mise à toutes les sauces et justifie tout. Puisqu'il faut absolument avoir des certitudes ! Tant pis si la vie psychique est laminée par cette logique infernale et n'a souvent d'autre issue que d'emboîter le pas de cette religion implicite. A moins d'esquisser une révolte plus ou moins maladroite (hystérie) que seuls les meilleurs artistes arrivent à transcender pour nous ouvrir à d'autres mondes.
