Le Québec a adopté, au cours des dernières années, une vision de l’organisation des services axée sur une approche populationnelle et hiérarchisée pour les personnes souffrant de douleur chronique. Cette vision intègre les volets de la clinique, de la formation et de la recherche et s’inspire des pratiques exemplaires dégagées de la mise sur pied précédente du réseau québécois de traumatologie. Le déploiement progressif du réseau de prise en charge de la douleur chronique permet déjà d’entrevoir des résultats encourageants.
