In patients with low back pain and neck pain who had not achieved satisfactory results with previous conventional treatments, Liliana Babio and colleagues from the Department of Kinesiology found significant improvements with osteopathic treatment. Rocío N. Barrios and colleagues from Hospital Italiano and the Epidemiology Office of the Ministry of Health of the City investigated the epidemiological profile of 404 traffic accidents admitted to the Hospital during 2018. Daiana Macarena Ibáñez Alegre, Luis Daniel Mazzuoccolo, and Adriana Raquel Rinflerch update advances in CRISPR-Cas gene-editing technology and its potential applications. Andrea M. Actis, from the Chair of Pharmacy and Biochemistry of the University Institute, recalls the personal and academic life of the Canadian scientist Maud Leonora Menten, known for her work on enzyme kinetics together with Leonor Michaelis in 1913.
