The Consumer Health Information Service (CHIS) a provincial service that provides access to an up-to-date collection of consumer health materials and assists consumers in becoming more informed about their health.CHIS is located on the third floor of the Toronto Reference Library and receives its core funding from the Ontario Ministry of Health and Long -Term Care.CHIS is also a co-affiliate in the area of Complementary and Alternative Health for the Canadian Health Network, a bilingual, Internet-based source of reliable health information (www.canadian-health-network.ca) CHIS has several projects, and could accept 1-2 students.
