Les enjeux de la lutte contre l’exclusion et la pauvreté sont de ceux qui interpellent invariablement les organisations du tiers secteur et du secteur public et de ce fait, les relations qu’elles entretiennent entre elles. Phénomène de plus en plus répandu, mais aussi de plus en plus complexe, ces relations interpellent le milieu de la recherche. Or, jusqu’à présent les travaux de recherche à ce sujet restent caractérisés par une grande diversité de perspectives et d’approches conceptuelles et une forte dispersion. Cet article rapporte le travail de recension et d’analyse des travaux publiés sur les relations tiers secteur/secteur public que nous avons mené. L’analyse de ces travaux permet de dégager cinq grandes approches conceptuelles des relations : les approches économique et politique, contractuelles, de collaboration et de partenariat, plurisectorielles et enfin des styles d’interaction. Après avoir exposé la méthodologie et le cadre général de notre recension, chacune des approches identifiées est détaillée. L’article se conclut sur les principales contributions et limites des différentes approches recensées et sur quelques pistes de recherche future.
