Ao ressaltar o pioneirismo do NEC/UFF na realização de pesquisas científicas centradas na produção literária do Canadá francófono, o artigo apresenta reflexões sobre estratégias para o ensino do francês no Brasil. Revelando uma postura de amadurecimento político-ideológico, que sempre caracterizou as práticas acadêmicas desenvolvidas neste Centro de Estudos, seus autores propõem uma ação pedagógica fundamentada não apenas na recusa da alienação e da pulsão mimética, mas também na valorização da diversidade cultural em uma época em que se reconhece o nascimento de uma literatura-mundo em francês.Palavras-chave: Núcleo de Estudos Canadenses da UFF; políticas e práticas pedagógicas; ensino de francês e de literaturas do Canadá francófonoAbstract: This article presents french as a second language teaching strategies in Brazil, highlighting NEC/UFF pioneering research on French Canadian literature.
