Abstract
La autora de esta reseña se hace eco de las aportaciones doctrinales publicadas en el año 2012 en el volumen XLVII de la revista European Transport Law, editada en Amberes, igualmente con contribuciones y jurisprudencia en castellano, que le permite ser conocida igualmente como Derecho europeo de los transportes. Fue fundada esta electrizante revista por Robert Wijffels, un hombre inteligentemente amable, que no se vio motivado en su actividad profesional por comportamientos de cariocinesis dirigidos a dividir el mundo del Derecho de los transportes, sino centrifugando y uniendo con su sonrisa elocuente, sabia y abierta. European Transport Law se sigue publicando en Flandes ahora como antes bajo la vara de mando de su hijo Luc Wijffels desde su afamado despacho de la ciudad portuaria de Amberes. Cada anualidad, algo que ha sucedido igualmente en 2012, aparecen seis cuadernos correspondientes a distintas fechas del calendario que presentan interesante y sapiencial jurisprudencia europea y contribuciones doctrinales sobre el Derecho de los transportes en el mar y en el espacio, el Derecho portuario, el Derecho del transporte fluvial y lacustre y por canales, el transporte por carretera, por autopista y por ferrocarril. El Convenio de Montreal de 1999, en contraste con el Convenio de Varsovia de 1929, llena por doquier espacios de esta revista flamenca. El Derecho de los seguros en cualquiera de las modalidades del transporte es objeto de atenta acogida en European Transport Law, considerada por muchos como un ejemplo muy relevante de revista mensual, probablemente la que se encuentra a la vanguardia de la Europa continental, como la primera en el Derecho de los transportes en su conjunto. Igualmente tienen acogida colaboraciones doctrinales referidas a la historia de las leyes, las costumbres y la jurisprudencia del mar.
