"Les préoccupations morales semblent actuellement émerger dans les sociétésoccidentales. La philosophie morale trouve dans des auteurs commeHabermas en Allemagne ou comme Comte-Spainville, Etchegoyen et Ferry enFrance des théoriciens de la crise des valeurs et des défenseurs etillustrateurs des questions éthiques. Comme d´autres sociétés occidentales, leQuébec est confronté aux questions morales auxquelles il tente de trouver sesréponses, adaptées à sa tradition chrétienne et à ses aspirations modernes.Le texte qui suit analysera les formes que ce mouvement a pris dans le mondede l´éducation en partant de trois points de vue différents. Le premier point devue, plus théorique, précisera les relations entre morale et éthique et l´apportde la philosophie de l´éducation dans l´élaboration d´une éthique del´éducation. Le second point de vue, plus pédagogique, présentera laperception de futurs enseignants québécois par rapport aux questionséthiques liées à leur profession. Le troisième point de vue, plus sociologique,abordera l´impact du mouvement de professionnalisation dans l´élaborationd´une éthique du métier d´enseignant."
