L’analogie et le langage Arnaut Daniel, troubadour occitan dont l’activité se déroule entre ca.1180-1200, demeure un poète célèbre par la richesse formelle et la densité du contenu de ses vers. Nous essayerons de fouiller à l’origine des métaphores de ce trobador ric de manière nouvelle. Cetarticle se propose de se concentrer sur les analogies entre la valorisation axiologique et la perception, d’une part et la topologie, de l’autre afin d’explorer les cohérences possibles dans le corpus de cansos d’Arnaut Daniel. L’étude présente est une partie d’une analyse plus extensive du langage métaphorique et d’un de ses mécanismes les plus visibles, l’analogie, qui permet d’observer la façon selon laquelle Arnaut arrange son monde intérieur (la vie affective, rationnelle et créative), le microcosme (le milieu anthropomorphe, naturel et courtois) et le macrocosme (non-anthropomorphe, les astres) en couples analogiques et exprime de cette manière leurs rapports. L’approche analogique systématise ainsi les images disparates et multiples à travers les textes d’Arnaut, étale les traits complexes de l’expression poétique individuelle du poète et démontre l’existence desmécanismes logiques, linguistiques et sémantiques qui réalisent l’unité et la systématicité de ses cansos. On assume donc que l’étude sémantique cognitive sur laquelle on s’appuie ici pour analyseret comprendre les analogies et les métaphores arnoldiennes peut éclaircir des points névralgiques du trobar ric, en même temps qu’elle illumine le style et révèle l’originalité d’Arnaut.
