Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

The Societe de Transport de Montreal (STM) is the major public transportation service provider in Montreal. This article describes what STM is doing to provide sustainable transportation. Top management is strongly committed to the concept of sustainable development. In the 1990s, STM made its first steps toward sustainable transportation by creating a team of environmental experts and initiating environmental protection policies. In 2005, STM signed the International Union of Public Transport’s Charter on Sustainable Development. Sustainable development is included in STM’s mission statement and is also a key component of its 2007-2011 business plan. In line with the priorities contained in the business plan, a sustainable development action plan was also adopted. The three central planks of the action plan are sustainable mobility, sustainable management and the promotion of sustainable development both inside and outside the company. The action plans contains 12 directions that underpin actions in the areas of climate change, universal access, urban planning, environmental management, energy efficiency and employee diversity. A sustainable development report also was published in 2008 to lay a foundation for the long-term sustainable development strategy and to help identify areas that need improvement, including continued development of the network and services, improvements to the environmental management system, adoption of a responsible supplies policy, and systemic assessment of development projects from a sustainable development perspective. STM hopes that this firm foundation and management commitment will make the sustainable development policies and programs easier to implement.

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. Learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and 10,348 direct Gemma labels. Candidate is the union of thresholded teacher heads; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels or direct frontier model labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
