Este trabajo presenta parte de la investigación realizada, en el marco de la tesis doctoral de referencia.Se muestran los resultados obtenidos y la metodología de trabajo aplicada para ampliar los datos de cantidad y calidad de luz natural en el caso de sistemas cenitales en arquitectura deportiva.Se resumen los resultados de las simulaciones con modelos a escala con condiciones de luz difusa (cielo artificial) para obtener valores de Factor de Luz Diurna (FLD %), luz directa (heliodón), imágenes fotográficas obtenidas con el proceso HDRI (High Dynamic Range Image), simulaciones numéricas y la comparación con datos obtenidos in situ en el edificio INEFC (Institut Nacional d'Educació Física de Catalunya) de la Ciudad de Barcelona.En las conclusiones se establece la importancia de la evaluación objetiva del campo visual y la conveniencia de la utilización de las imágenes HDRI en modelos a escala para obtener una aproximación acertada en la evaluación del campo visual y al balance de luminancias, para los diferentes usuarios, además de la iluminancia horizontal.
