Abstract
Cet article traite de l'évolution des discours et des débats entourant la scientificité des entretiens de recherche, en insistant toutefois davantage sur ce qui touche l'entretien de type qualitatif. Une attention particulière sera accordée au débat sur les mérites respectifs de l'entretien qualitatif et de l'entretien standardisé, à la question des distorsions introduites dans l'entretien en général et au statut des données produites par celui-ci. L'article tentera de mettre en évidence qu'à partir des années soixante-dix, le discours sur les entretiens est passé d'une conception foncièrement positiviste à une conception plus constructiviste. En ce sens, les discours sont vus comme étant socialement produits et coconstruits.
