Abstract
Les acquis d’expérience des adultes non diplômés sont méconnus et peu valorisés dans la société du savoir. Un regard sur leurs pratiques sociales peut contribuer à mieux comprendre les expériences vécues et les savoirs multiples de ces adultes. Le but de la recherche était de décrire et comprendre certaines pratiques sociales d’adultes non diplômés durant la résolution d’un problème complexe. Deux groupes d’adultes, l’un au Nouveau-Brunswick et l’autre à Montréal, ont été invités à proposer des mesures d’adaptation à des impacts locaux des changements climatiques. Les données de l’étude multi-cas ont été recueillies à l’aide d’entretiens individuels et de groupe, ainsi que par l’observation directe. Observés durant leurs démarches respectives de résolution créative de problèmes en groupe, les participants ont démontré des façons expérientielles et pragmatiques d’aborder le problème (aller sur le terrain, observer, se renseigner, s’entraider, puiser dans leur expérience, agir), des pratiques relationnelles et de pensée prospective, ainsi qu’une attitude favorable de résilience et d’efficacité
