E Entretien avec Jean VaumoronMichel Ginguay, traducteur-lexicographe, est le doyen des lexicographes spécialisés en informatique.Pionnier reconnu dans ce domaine, il est l'auteur de plusieurs dictionnaires et notamment du premier dictionnaire anglais-français d'informatique (1) , publié en janvier 1970 et comportant au total quatorze éditions.Les traducteurs du domaine de l'informatique connaissent tous « le Ginguay » et la revue Traduire est heureuse de saisir cette occasion de rendre hommage à son auteur, qui a d'ailleurs compté parmi ses abonnés !Jean Vaumoron, ancien traducteur au Secrétariat d'État du Canada, s'est trouvé en relation professionnelle pendant de nombreuses années avec Michel Ginguay.Il répond à nos questions et nous explique son parcours.-Quand avez-vous rencontré Michel Ginguay ?Jean Vaumoron : Je l'ai rencontré en 1977, alors qu'il préparait la 5 e édition de son dictionnaire, déjà très apprécié par les professionnels.
