Abstract
Michel Ginguay, traducteur-lexicographe, est le doyen des lexicographes spcialiss en informatique. Pionnier reconnu dans ce domaine, il est l'auteur de plusieurs dictionnaires et notamment du premier dictionnaire anglais-franais d'informatique (1) , publi en janvier 1970 et comportant au total quatorze ditions. Les traducteurs du domaine de l'informatique connaissent tous le Ginguay et la revue Traduire est heureuse de saisir cette occasion de rendre hommage son auteur, qui a d'ailleurs compt parmi ses abonns ! Jean Vaumoron, ancien traducteur au Secrtariat d'tat du Canada, s'est trouv en relation professionnelle pendant de nombreuses annes avec Michel Ginguay.
