Herkunft der Pfarrer, Arbeit der Pfarrer (u.a. Fabrikprobleme).Wohl ebenso häufig wie den Darstellungsteil wird man das Pfarrerverzeichnis zu Rate ziehen.Wiederum kann hier für die Zeit vor 1800 mit der Arbeit von 1943 verglichen werden.Und wiederum kann festgestellt werden, daß das Vorgängerverzeichnis praktisch unverändert übernommen worden ist, mit zwei Ausnahmen: Statt des genauen Wahldatums wird nur noch das Wahljahr angegeben, ein etwas unverständlicher Rückschritt gegenüber dem älteren Verzeichnis.Gewichtiger ist allerdings der zweite Rückschritt: Es wurde darauf verzichtet, den Einleitungsteil jeder Gemeinde (mit Angabe von Kollatur, Gebietsumfang, Pfrundeinkommen etc.) zu übernehmen (und für das 19-und 20.Jahrhundert zu ergänzen); das wären doch nützliche Informationen, nicht nur für die ältere, sondern auch für die neuere Zeit (z.B. S. 107: Warum bricht «Brugg, Klassenhelferei» 1937 ab?).Eher ungeschickt ist auch die fortlaufende Numerierung der Amtsträger, da sich die Nummern nicht mit denjenigen des früheren Verzeichnisses decken können und weil der gleichen Person, wenn sie ihre Stelle gewechselt hat, mehrere Nummern zugeteilt werden.Gelegentlich fehlt es auch an Detailarbeit: Bei den unbekannten Amtsträgern Nr. 70 und 522 wird auf Anmerkung 40 verwiesen, wo zwar ein Caspar Vischer erwähnt ist, aber der Zusammenhang unklar bleibt.
