Abstract
Objetivo: O objetivo do presente estudo foi levantar a prevalência de lombalgia em motoristas de ônibus e veriï¬ car a relação existente entre a prevalência de lombalgia com os fatores psicossociais e horas de trabalho na postura sentada. Métodos: Para atingir tal objetivo, foi utilizado um questionário epidemiológico, auto-aplicável e adaptado do Quebec Back Pain Disability Scale. A amostra foi constituída por 20 motoristas de ônibus urbano do sexo masculino com idade média igual a 32,5 anos. Utilizou-se técnicas de estatística descritiva (média, mediana, desvio-padrão, erro-padrão e coeï¬ ciente de variação). Para análise inferencial foi utilizado o teste de Shapiro-Wilk para análise da normalidade e a correlação de Spermam para veriï¬ car a correlação entre as variáveis, com um nível de conï¬ ança de p < 0,05. Resultados: Os resultados demonstraram uma correlação baixa entre as variáveis e a amostra não apresentou-se próxima de uma distribuição normal. Conclusão: A correlação entre as variáveis foi classiï¬ cada como baixa de acordo com o n amostral utilizado. O que nos permite inferir que o aumento desta amostra possibilitará o aumento das correlações. .Palavras-chave: lombalgia, fator psicossocial, postura sentada, motorista de ônibus.
