Thierry Verheyde, conseiller, magistrat délégué à la protection des majeurs, cour d'appel de Douai Le regard de juges français sur le système québécois de protection des majeurs vulnérables l e p o i n t sur Dans le cadre du programme « Justice sans frontières » de l'École nationale de la magistrature, deux magistrats français, spécialisés dans le domaine de protection judiciaire des majeurs, ont eu l'opportunité d'observer in situ le fonctionnement concret du système québécois de protection des majeurs vulnérables.L'article présente les services du Curateur public du Québec, une institution publique spécialisée, originale et spécifique.Il insiste tout particulièrement sur les éléments qui pourraient utilement inspirer une éventuelle réforme du système français en la matière 1 .Au moment où la France est elle-même en train de procéder à un premier bilan de la réforme de 2007, après avoir récemment réformé sa législation en ce qui concerne les malades atteints de troubles mentaux (loi du 5 juillet 2011), il paraît spécialement intéressant d'examiner l'expérience québécoise, notamment face à la problématique d'une possible « déjudiciarisation » partielle de la protection juridique des majeurs évoquée en France.Il s'agit de voir comment fonctionne concrètement le système québécois, étant 1.
