Abstract
Somando-se ao recente ensaio As Representações Empreendedoras: um Tema Essencial, mas ainda Negligenciado, publicado nessa revista, este texto tem por objetivo a geração de contribuições quanto a temas e modos de proceder úteis a novos estudos propícios ao avanço no entendimento das representações empreendedoras. Para que o objetivo se cumpra, o texto compartilha com o leitor elementos de reflexão sobre aspectos fundamentais e ainda pouco conhecidos quanto às representações empreendedoras, destaca a importância de se realizar estudos sobre eles e sugere possíveis métodos de pesquisa a empregar. Trata-se de um ensaio teórico amparado na revisão de literatura, na argumentação dos autores e em exemplos de situações reais do contexto brasileiro. O processo empreendedor é caracterizado como relacional e intersubjetivo. Dois temas principais recebem especial atenção e são tratados em suas ligações com as relações interpessoais e a aprendizagem: o conceito de si e o espaço de si. Além disso, as representações empreendedoras são consideradas em seu papel central no pensamento com vistas à ação empreendedora. A conclusão destaca a importância da auto-realização das pessoas no processo empreendedor e reforça a idéia de que o desenvolvimento do campo do empreendedorismo deve ser feito não apenas pelo estudo da ação empreendedora, mas também do pensamento empreendedor e das ligações entre esses dois conceitos.
