Abstract
O presente trabalho é uma reflexão sobre questões tratadas no âmbito das mudanças globais referentes ao clima e, mais especificamente, sobre a problemática dos CFC´s e da camada de ozônio e alguns de seus aspectos teóricos e técnicos. São avaliadas as implicações de ordem diversa como as questões políticas e econômicas resultantes das ações de resposta aos problemas atribuídos a sua produção e suas conotações a partir do Protocolo de Montreal e de Viena. É discutido, também, a efetividade destas ações e seus impactos no sistema ambiental, fazendo refletir sobre o papel da ciência e seus enlaces com a economia bem como suas correlações com os índices de radiação, entre outros aspectos, para o oeste da Bahia. Abstract GLOBAL CHANGES: THE ZONE ISSUE AND SOME OF IT IMPLICATIONS This work is a reflection on issues addressed in the context of global changes related to climate, more specifically on the issue of CFC’s and the ozone layer besides some of its theoretical and technical aspects. Implications of different kinds are assessed, such as political and economic issues arising from response actions to the problems attributed to its production and its connotations from the Montreal Protocol and Vienna. It is also discussed the effectiveness of these actions and their impacts on the environment, making a reflection on the role of science and its links with the economy and their correlation with the incidence of radiation, among other aspects to the west of Bahia.
