Abstract
Cet article présente la place de la recherche dans les formations universitaires à l’enseignement du FLS au Québec. La transformation du « métier » d’enseignant en « profession » a eu comme conséquence une augmentation de la formation pratique et une réorientation vers de nouveaux objectifs de formation, ceci afin de donner au futur professeur de nouvelles compétences ciblées. Même si elles ne sont pas systématiques sur le terrain de la formation, des formes d’initiation à la recherche sont présentes, afin de développer l’autonomie et la pratique réflexive. Cette co-présence entre recherche et pratique répond à une logique de formation fondée sur l’interaction entre enseignants sur le terrain et futurs enseignants en formation. Cependant, l’interrelation entre ces deux parties gagnerait à être explicitée, et ainsi à être valorisée, afin de contribuer à modifier les représentations clivantes sur les fonctions et les compétences imparties à un enseignant et à un chercheur.
