Abstract
De nombreuses décisions d’ordre méthodologique doivent être prises lors de la construction d’un cadre d’évaluation des effets d’un réseau intégré de services gérontologiques. Le présent article vise à guider cette prise de décisions par une comparaison des paramètres méthodologiques de trois évaluations de réseau intégré réalisées au Québec: le projet des Bois-Francs, PRISMA et SIPA. Nous débutons avec la présentation d’un cadre théorique que le Conseil de recherche médicale du Royaume-Uni a proposé dans le but de soutenir le développement et l’évaluation d’interventions complexes. Nous abordons ensuite trois facteurs qui exercent, selon nous, une influence marquée sur le choix du devis de recherche, puis traitons des autres éléments clés du cadre d’évaluation que sont la population et l’échantillon, les hypothèses et mesures d’impact, l’effectif et le plan d’analyse statistique. Nous concluons avec une vue d’ensemble des divers éléments du cadre d’évaluation et de leurs influences mutuelles.
