Abstract

Abstract The aim of this study was to bring together scientific evidence on the assessment of pain in the postpartum period through the most commonly used pain scales as VAS - visual analogue scale and McGill Pain Questionnaire (MPQ). Review of the literature from 2000 to 2010 on the assessment of pain postpartum. The selection aimed to study in English, Spanish and Portuguese through Medline and Lilacs. We selected 53 articles that contained the outcomes of interest of this review. Several papers report that the pain when compared to the types of delivery - vaginal and cesarean section - can be reported on two occasions, during labor and postpartum. In vaginal pain is referred to in labor and during cesarean delivery while in the greatest pain is felt in the puerperium. The anxiety in the period before birth may influence the increase of pain intensity. The studies showed that cultural factors, socioeconomic and emotional fear and apprehension associated with the delivery process and perception influence the choice of prior delivery. And the pain during labor, delivery and postpartum can be intensified by anxiety. Keywords: pain, anxiety, pain assessment, cesarean section, vaginal delivery

Not calibrated prevalence, not ground truth. Human validation pending. The Gemma side is a direct model label for every work in the frame, read from the title-only record. The Codex side is a classifier learned from the 10,348 direct Codex labels and calibrated to design-weighted sample rates; fields without enough sample support carry no Codex call. Candidate is the union of the two sides; consensus is their intersection. These outputs are machine_predicted_unvalidated and are not human labels.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
