Abstract
La littérature enfantine africaine écrite est un phénomène récent et encore peu connu. Chez ces deux auteurs, elle représente une mission éthique et sociale à réaliser concrètement à la première personne. Bien que le sentiment de cette mission arrive à s’imposer très lourdement sur le traducteur, lui donnant une conscience un peu spéciale de ce qu’il est en train de faire, l’analyse des ses choix de traduction met au jour plutôt les échecs ainsi que les succès obtenus. Les uns comme les autres pourraient pourtant contribuer à développer la réflexion sur ces textes.
