Abstract
Bu calismadaki temel amac aleksitimi ve yalnizlik arasindaki iliskiyi incelemektir. Arastirma 2001-2002 egitim ve ogretim yili bahar yari yilinda Gazi Universitesi Iktisadi ve Idari Bilimler Fakultesinde okuyan ogrenciler arasindan rasgele secilmis 230 ogrenciye Toronto Aleksitimi Olcegi (TAO) ve UCLA Yalnizlik Olcegi uygulanarak gerceklestirilmistir. Arastirmada yapilan analizler sonucunda universite ogrencilerinin aleksitimi ve yalnizlik duzeyleri arasinda pozitif yonde anlamli bir iliski oldugu tespit edilmistir (r-.66). Kiz ve erkek ogrencilerin yalnizlik puanlari arasinda .05 duzeyinde anlamli bir farklilik oldugu ancak ayni ogrencilerin aleksitimi puanlari arasindaki farkin anlamli olmadigi bulunmustur. Ayrica ogrencilerin kaldiklari yerlere gore yalnizlik ve aleksitimi duzeyleri arasinda anlamli bir farklilik olmadigi anlasilmistir.
