Abstract
Les études sur la vulnérabilité (en tant que composante du risque) se sont largement développées depuis une dizaine d’années. Cependant, le cas du risque d’érosion fait figure d’exception car, si l’aléa a été l’objet de nombreuses recherches, rien de comparable n’a été déployé sur la vulnérabilité. Nous souhaitons donc combler (très partiellement) ce manque, en proposant une méthode de diagnostic de la vulnérabilité des terres agricoles et du bâti villageois aux aléas de l’érosion. Cette méthode est basée sur la recherche d’indicateurs et de paramètres et cherche à améliorer l’action collective autour du risque de coulée de boue.Partant du principe que le risque est également un fait culturel, nous avons souhaité intégrer la subjectivité des populations locales dans les paramètres du diagnostic. Cette posture nécessite de s’interroger sur les différentes échelles mobilisables : échelle de collecte des données, mais aussi échelle de validité temporelle et spatiale de la méthode.
