Abstract
El propósito de este artículo fue caracterizar de la Generación millennials para la inserción laboral͏, socio-profesional y la empleabilidad. Metodológicamente, se trabajó con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo descriptiva, cuya población objeto de estudio correspondió a los millennials de la ciudad de Bucaramanga. Los resultados demuestran un panorama alentador respecto a su disposición y habilidades para integrarse al mercado laboral, revelan que la mayoría de los encuestados poseen una actitud positiva hacia la interacción social inicial, destacándose por su facilidad para sonreír y abrirse a los extraños. Se concluye que existe un potencial significativo para establecer redes de contacto y relaciones laborales efectivas, asimismo, la alta autoconfianza y percepción positiva sobre sus cualidades personales indican una base sólida para el desarrollo profesional y personal. Se recomienda abordar un pequeño porcentaje que aún enfrenta dificultades en estos aspectos, lo que subraya la importancia de programas de desarrollo de habilidades sociales y autoestima para fortalecer la empleabilidad de este grupo.
