Abstract

fetched live from OpenAlex

This study aims first to identify the leadership style which is used the most by the managers in the Nigeria beverage sector, second investigate the factors that influence motivation of employees working in the sector, and third to examine the impact of two leadership styles (Transformational, and Transactional leaders) on human resource motivation. The study population was totality of employees in the Beverage Companies (BCs) located within Lagos State, South-Western Nigeria. Three hundred and fifty questionnaires were distributed, three hundred and ten questionnaires were analyzed. Data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics at 0.05 significance level with the aid of SPSS statistical program version 21.0 for windows. The results revealed that managers in beverage companies are using the transformational leadership style most; employees in beverage companies are motivated most by job satisfaction. The findings of the multiple regression indicated that transformational leadership style had highest impact on human resource motivation. Based on the findings transformational leardership style is encouraged to be used by the management of beverage companies and other large organizations in Nigeria if they want to be successful and productive.

Machine scores (provisional)

The two teacher heads of the student model, read on this work. A score orders the frame for review; it never asserts a category, and the validation status ships verbatim with every row.

Baseline scores from an immature model (maturity gate not passed, 7 training rounds). Scores rank; they never assert a category.
